Airport receives award
The Federal Aviation Administration Office of Civil Rights recently honored Southwest Florida International Airport with the 2014 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Advocate Partner Award.
It was the only airport recipient to be recognized at the Fifth Annual FAA National Civil Rights Training Conference for Airports in Washington, D.C.
The FAA recognizes individuals, organizations and airports who demonstrate excellence in meeting the letter, spirit and intent of the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise programs.
