To the editor:

We the members and friends of the Church of God of Prophecy in Lehigh Acres will be having an appreciation service for our pastor, Athensa Whittle, and her husband, Deacon Vecas Whittle, on Nov. 22 starting at 4 p.m.

This service will be held at The Unique Event Hall at 1140 Lee Blvd., Unit 105.

Pastor Whittle has been the pastor for the past 10 years and has been a great blessing not only to the members of the church but to all who visit with us.

She takes pleasure in visiting and ministering to those who are shut in and unable to attend church services.

The Citizen has been a great source of information to the Lehigh community and through it we would like to invite the public to attend.
