FDLE accuses Lehigh man of having child pornography

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Fort Myers Regional Operations Center Cyber High-Tech Crime Task Force recently arrested and charged a Lehigh Acres man with possession of child pornography, a second degree felony.
On Sept. 11, FDLE agents served a search warrant at the residence of James “Jamie” William Gardner, 48, of 533 Paloma Ave.
They seized several digital devices. After examination, numerous child pornography videos were found, including videos depicting sexual battery involving children.
On Oct. 27, agents located Gardner at his new residence, at 2106 McArthur Ave., Alva, and took him into custody.
He was booked at the Lee County Jail.
The Fort Myers Regional Operations Center Cyber High-Tech Crime Task Force consists of law enforcement officers from FDLE, Homeland Security Investigations and the Fort Myers Police Department.
