To the editor:

I wanted to thank everyone who participated in the “Get The Facts Lehigh” Fire Fee Assessment informational campaign.

There are so many of you who helped out that I could not keep track of all the names. From community events, to handing out informational brochures, answering questions, building signs, installing signs, coordinating efforts, designing billboards and print media, providing stand-by at events, helping get the message out to the public, and basically supporting the cause, et cetera, it took each and everyone of us/you to make this campaign a success.

You know who you are and the roll(s) you played and I thank you all.

We (Fire District) have a tough year ahead of us and some uncertainties for about 8-10 months after the current SAFER grant expires on March 13, 2015. However, we will do whatever is necessary to get through this.

Nothing can stop us now!
