Thanksgiving service set

Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church and First Christian Church will host a shared Thanksgiving service today, Nov. 26, at 6 p.m. at 2803 Lee Blvd.

All faiths are invited and welcome.

Pastors Tom Collinge and Glenna Tibbs will lead the service, with a message by Pastor Bob Geckler.

A time of fellowship and refreshment will follow. A freewill offering will be received, with the donations to benefit the Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida.

Fish fry scheduled

Buckingham Presbyterian Church will host a fish fry on Dec. 5 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at 4241 Buckingham Road in Fort Myers.

For $10, diners will receive a large piece of mild white fish with a light coating and their choice of green beans or homemade baked beans, homemade coleslaw, hush puppies, dessert and a drink.

The other dates are:

– Jan. 9

– Feb. 6

– March 6

– April 9

Christmas party planned

The St. Raphael Italian American Club will host a Christmas party on Dec. 6 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Moose Lodge of Lehigh Acres, at 210 S. Homestead Road.

Dinner choice of prime rib or half chicken. Music provided by Jim Marino.

Tickets cost $25 for members and $30 for non-members. For tickets or information, contact Dee at (239) 369-4523.

Church to host Fourth Annual Indoor Arts and Crafts Fair

The Fourth Annual Indoor Arts and Crafts Fair will be held on Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside the Fellowship Hall at Christ United Methodist Church, at 1430 N. Homestead Road.

Twenty-one vendors will offer a variety of food, home decor and unique, one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts.

The Christ United Methodist Church youth will serve pancakes from 9 to 11 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The United Methodist Women will have a baked goods table.

Admission is free to attend.
