FMPD still searching for suspect
On Dec. 14, the Fort Myers Police Department responded to Brittany Apartments in the 4000 block of Winkler Avenue in reference to a disturbance.
Upon arrival police located a victim on the ground bleeding from an injury to the right side of his head.
During the ensuing investigation detectives learned Johnny Lee Glover, 25, of Lehigh Acres, was the primary aggressor in the incident and struck the victim on the side of the head with a large piece of concrete before fleeing the scene.
Glover also caused several hundred dollars in damage to an apartment when he threw a piece of concrete through a window.
Police are searching for Glover, who has open charges for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief.
“Glover has a long history of violent offenses to include multiple firearm related charges,” Lt. Victor Medico, a FMPD spokesman, said.

Tipsters can remain anonymous. Anyone with information that leads to an arrest and conviction could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
