Productions company plans meeting, auditions
Winning Reels Productions will hold a meeting and auditions from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 15 at 1002 Washington Ave.
Auditions will be held at 3:30 p.m. for voice talent readings and to submit writing samples.
Open to authors, screenwriters, playwrights, voice actors, audio editors and engineers, marketing and publicity coordinators, grant writers, fundraisers, set and sound designers, stage managers, technical directors and such.
RSVP mandatory; the fee is $6.50 per person, which includes the meeting and auditions.
Bring bio, bibliography, portfolio and resume, along with CD demo or samples of work.
The advisory board members will be elected at the meeting.

USPS leader to offer business advice
Vice President of Sales Cliff Rucker, of the United States Postal Service, will speak from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Mail Processing Center, at 14080 Jetport Loop, Fort Myers.
He will discuss building a business and how to target customers with advertising mail.
USPS Supervisor Business Mail Entry William Nye, of the Bulk Mail Entry Unit in Manasota, will talk about the new Secure Destruction Service offered.
Attendees will also be invited to take a tour of the center.
Seating is limited. The cost is $15 and includes lunch.

Hamman elected chair
The Lee County Board of Port Commissioners elected Brian Hamman as chair for 2015 during its first meeting on Jan. 8. Frank Mann was elected as vice chair.
The board, composed of the five Lee County commissioners, meets bi-monthly to set policy and direct the operations of Southwest Florida International Airport and Page Field in Fort Myers.
