She has at least 50 molds and can make all kinds of treats for those with a sweet tooth. She can almost satisfy anyone’s wish for any type of pop.
Not only are they for personal use, her pops can used at all types of occasions because they are designed just the way the customer wants them. It could be for a graduation party, wedding, an anniversary dinner – any occasion.
Right now, she is making things for Valentine’s Day. After that she will start taking orders for Easter.

MEL TOADVINE Shelia Bruno holds one of her favorites, an American flag over sweet chocolate.
Bruno has been cooking for 25 years.
“I love to cook. Ever since I was a little girl, I tried my hand at making things and I was very good at it, learning from my mother Jeanie Draves who lives in Ohio,” she said.
“I really started making things like the pops for my family and then the idea sort of caught on and people would ask for them so I decided to turn it into a small business of my own. My grandmother also taught me how to make things that tasted good,” she said.
Her grandmother is Mary Draves, of Lehigh Acres.
Some suggested she start her own part-time business and that is exactly what Bruno did.

Before, she was making and handing her pops out to friends at her part-time job and someone suggested she go in business.
She set up a Facebook page at: facebook.com/sweetcreationsby shelly.
“People can see some of the things I can make,” she said.
“I tell everyone that I can make them pops for any occasion. Not only is Valentine’s Day coming this week, next is Easter and then later on is the Fourth of July. People will love my American Flag on chocolate. It is really good,”?she said.
Bruno makes her pops at home in the cleanest of environments.
“Everything is clean. I disinfect the counters, use parchment paper and remember to always wash my hands. I’m a stickler for cleanliness,” she said.
She has even considering making pops for people who have to watch their sugars, like diabetics.
What she can make is almost endless – pretzels covered with chocolate, red velvet and even wedding cakes, peanut butter, vanilla, dark chocolate, mints and more.
“I keep the pops refrigerated because the chocolate can melt sometimes if not cooled. Some things are on a stick and others are not. One example is a small wooden cross she makes for the Easter holidays,”?she said.
“I’ve gotten a lot of orders from returning customers and have had no complaints. Many orders come from Facebook,” she said.
She may spend a day or two just working on the pops.
“To some people’s surprise, there is no baking involved in my pops. I do use a crock pot for melting the chocolate, but most of it is done by hand,” she said.
Her pops are $1.50 each, but smaller sweets are less.
“And there are no minimum orders,” she said.
Bruno can deliver locally or people can pick up their orders.
“I’ve even mailed some out of town. I sent chocolates to Ohio and they didn’t even melt, but it depends on the time of the year,” she laughed.
Those interested in purchasing pops can contact Bruno at (239) 878-2857. If she is unable to answer the phone, leave a message and she will get back to you.
