The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has reported that nearly $150,000 worth of Marijuana has been seized in a Lehigh Acres grow house bust on March 17.

The occupant of the house, Yensi Abreu, 30, was arrested and accused of cultivating marijuana and marijuana trafficking.

According to a report from the Sheriff’s Office, neighbors thought the activities at the house were suspicious because they said they noticed that twice a day, the same man would stop at 1015 Carl Ave. in Lehigh.

Each time, he would stay for about an hour and then leave, they told investigators with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

On March 17, detectives with the Narcotics/Vice Unit conducted an investigation of the house and gathered probable cause for a search warrant.

The search warrant was served by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Field Support Unit, East District Selective Enforcement Team (SET) and members of the Narcotics Unit.

Inside the home, investigators said they discovered an elaborate Marijuana cultivation operation along with 42 adult Marijuana plants weighing 175 pounds.

Lee County Environmental Protection responded to the residence to take possession of all hazardous materials, according to investigators.
