At 11:34 p.m. March 21, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to 3703 W. Seventh St. in reference to a disturbance.

Upon arrival, deputies found a large open house party. Preliminary investigation revealed that during the party, a large fight occurred and as a result, five people sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The victims were transported to local hospitals to be treated for their injuries. The current extent of those injuries is unknown.

Due to the nature of the incident, detectives with Major Crimes Unit responded and assumed the investigation. Detectives believe that this incident is isolated.
