Take Stock in Children offers students college scholarships

By Staff | Mar 25, 2015

More than two dozen Lee County students have the opportunity to be awarded college scholarships, thanks to the Take Stock in Children scholarship program administered locally by The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools.

When students are accepted into the program, they sign a contract to maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA; stay crime and drug free; and meet with their mentor regularly.

When they graduate from high school, having kept this commitment, they are guaranteed a four-year tuition scholarship to college.
