Eight entry signs up for grabs

The Greater Lehigh Acres of Commerce is looking for welcome ambassadors to let people know that they are being extended a welcome when they visit Lehigh.
“It’s a way to say ‘Hi’ to everyone who comes into our Lehigh Acres community,'” Inke Baker, the chamber president and CEO, said today. Baker said the Welcome to Lehigh signs at different spots approaching the Lehigh community will celebrate the renovated and renewed Welcome to Lehigh Acres signs by sponsoring one of eight entry signs.
“Space (8 inches by 36 inches) is available to showcase your church, your business and local organizations at eight entries to our community. Signs are in Department of Transportation quality and it’s a first one first serve type of thing,” Baker said.
Plus, you can choose between a one-year for up to three years commitment. She said you can also choose between being exclusive on the sign or sharing space, which is up to two sponsors.
And you can choose in some locations if you would like to say “Welcome” or “Thank You.”

According to Baker, the available locations with Welcome Signs, including future locations, are:
– Lee Boulevard and Leonard Boulevard
– Joel Boulevard at the Lehigh Acres boundary
– SR82 and Bell Boulevard
– SR82 at Homestead Road
– SR82 at Alabama Road
– SR82 at Sunshine Boulevard
– SR82 at Gunnery Road
– Buckingham Road at Gunnery Road
– Buckingham Road at Alvin Avenue

“This is a great way to show our community to those who enter at the different spots around entrances to Lehigh Acres,” Baker said.
“But don’t wait, the signs are selling fast,” she said.
