Hickey’s Creek Mitigation Park, at 17980 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, presents:
– Guided Walk: May 5 from 9-11 a.m.
Join park staff on a stroll through natural plant communities. Participants should be able to walk one and a half miles; this trail is only stroller and handicap accessible for about a quarter of a mile. Dress appropriately and bring a water bottle. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Free with paid parking. Limit of 25 participants; groups of five or more, call ahead.

Park amenities include parking, restrooms, canoe/kayak landing, fishing pier, picnic areas with picnic tables, bridges across Hickey’s Creek, trail shelters and miles of hiking trails.
The park is open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Parking is free with a Lee County parking pass; those without a pass must pay $1 per hour or $5 per day. Bring exact change.
