The ‘new’ Hillary

By Staff | Apr 22, 2015

To the editor:

I am not sure what version this one is. She has reinvented herself with the same success as the Yugo. But she is chugging along again. She is touted as having changed her stripes. Like a zebra can?? How about a tiger? This is a very weak and time worn label she wears like a mantle from heaven. I suspect that the results will be more identifiable as coming from further south of heaven.

There is really nothing to like about her public life. Yet, the party that she represents is horrified that they will lose the WH and so this panic driven effort is to hold on to what should be changed. The worn face of Hillary Clinton is the past. The past is dreadful. Is the Democratic Party so politically bankrupt that they cannot produce anyone else that can compete with whichever Republican wins their nomination?

The question cannot be more important: the outcome more damaging, or the future so trying that we refuse to ask it. Is the party more important than the country?

A new and improved Yugo is not what is needed. A new candidate from the Democrats just may ignite the spark of patriotism that will serve the country well. We need not be subjected to a presidential campaign that will have us holding our noses, but Hillary Clinton is the noisome player desperate to sit in the forum of the election.

Let us put her out to pasture and close that gate. We may then win with whatever party can bring a fresh breath into the White House.
