$10 million minimum price to play
To the editor:
It is estimated that at least $10,000,000 will be raised by six or seven Republicans. For those who raise this PAC money they will be able to survive the first three primaries. They will stay as long as the money lasts. The first three primaries are Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. All of the three are very conservative states.
Six or seven candidates have the money capacity to continue on until they run out of funds. The candidate with best chance to survive is Scott Walker, whose entire career has been funded by the Koch Brothers. Democrats will be forced to raise these amounts of money too. Do we want the people’s vote or PACS to choose our next president?
This field should produce a very conservative candidate in the primary. However, the candidate will be put forth as more liberal to run in the general election. It is going to raise thoughts and action for campaign reform. Think how many people we could feed to help end hunger in the United States with that total amount of money!
