Rotary Club awards scholarships
The Fort Myers East Rotary Club recently awarded four scholarships this year to the following high school seniors:
– Regine Cooper, of Dunbar High School, received $1,000
– Chelled Crespo, of Dunbar High School, received $500
– Edward Samuel Eusanio, of Riverdale High School, received $1,000
– Cathryn Yanosik, of Riverdale High School, received $500
The winners demonstrated knowledge of the importance of volunteering and are exemplary members of their communities.
Kiwanis Club presents scholarships
The Kiwanis Club of Lehigh Acres recently presented four scholarships to outstanding students at Riverdale High School.
The following students were awarded scholarships:
– Paeton Johnson: $2,000 for two years at $500 a semester
– Destiny Marin: $2000 for two years at $500 a semester
– Matthew Graves: $1,000 for one year at $500 a semester
– Timothy Lighthall: $1,000 for one year at $500 a semester
The awards ceremony was held on May 26.
