The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects who intentionally struck a victim with their vehicle before proceeding to rob him.

The incident occurred Saturday at approximately 3 a.m. The victim said he was walking along Buckingham Road when the suspects intentionally hit him with a late 1980s or early 1990s model Ford F150, possibly white or beige.

The two suspects, described as white men, then took an undisclosed amount of cash from the injured victim.

Detectives would also like to talk to the Good Samaritan who picked the victim up at a gas station in the Buckingham area and drove him home.

The Good Samaritan is asked to call the LCSO at (239) 477-1000. Or to remain anonymous, call Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at (800) 780-TIPS (8477).

Anyone else who may have information on the crime is also asked to contact authorities.
