At 9:56 p.m. Oct. 7, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to 85 Joel Blvd. for a report of a robbery to the person.

The woman told deputies that the man grabbed her purse from her shoulder as she getting into her vehicle. The victim fought back in attempt to keep her purse.

The man pulled her to the ground and began kicking her. The woman let go and the man ran off on foot.

The man was described as black, possibly 18-22 years old, 5 feet 4 inches and medium to heavy set.

He was wearing all black clothing, a black sweat shirt with the hood pulled over his head and a mask covering his mouth and nose.
