Second annual Scream on the Green Halloween Walk set
Halloween is right around the corner and that means ghosts, goblins and ghouls will be seeking a howling good time.
The Rotary Club of Lehigh Acres presents its second annual Scream on the Green Haunted Walk at the Copperhead Golf Course in Lehigh Acres.
Scream on the Green will be open on Oct. 22-24 and Oct. 30-31 from 7 to 10 p.m.
The event is open to all ages.
Admission is $3 per entry; guests can save $1 by bringing a canned food item to be donated to Lehigh Community Services.
As a special bonus, the Rotary Club has teamed up with the Kiwanis Club of Lehigh Acres to host Trunk or Treat – a free trick-or-treating event for youth.
The event will take place on Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the golf course.
“The inaugural Scream on the Green event collected more than 900 pounds of food for Lehigh Community Services and saw more than 2,500 guests , so we are hopeful that this family-friendly event will be even more successful this year,” Fred Elliott, president of the Lehigh Acres Rotary Club, said.
Scream on the Green was made possible due to the generosity of several sponsors and the support of volunteers, like the East Lee County High School Interact Club, JROTC and Boy Scout Troop.
Copperhead Golf Club is at 20910 Copperhead Drive.
Parking is free.
