Learn how to establish and maintain good credit and simple ways to improve your credit score. A 30-minute Q&A session will follow. Presented by Fifth Third Bank. Registration is required.

An interactive session for patrons to receive help with downloadable e-books, movies and more in the library’s online library collection. Patrons should bring their tablets, phones or other digital devices to this hands-on help session. Registration is required.

Local registered Yoga instructor Janelle teaches the basics of yoga from the comfort of a chair. This gentle introduction to the practice is suitable for all ages and experience levels. Registration is required.

Simple Paper Card Crafts: Easel Fold Style Card

Join local crafter Rose Ann and create a simple card that is perfect for the autumn season. This special fold style card will include a built in easel to add an eye catching 3D element. Registration is required.

Knitting Nook

5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18

A casual, self-guided group of knitters and crocheters share ideas, techniques and projects. Attendees should bring their own projects. Basic supplies available for newcomers. Sponsored by the Friends of the East County Regional Library.

There’s a (Library) App for That! – Music, Movies and Language Learning

1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23

Learn about some of the free apps you can use to take library content on the go. Class participants must bring their app-enabled mobile device and know their library card information to get the most out of class. Registration is required.

Toddler Tales

10 a.m. Wednesdays, Nov. 18

Toddlers love activity and the chance to practice their growing language skills. This interactive and active time for toddlers and their favorite caregiver is designed to advance pre-reading and social skills. They’ll experience storytelling, wordplay, felt board stories, fingerplays, puppets, singing, music-making, socializing, dancing and, of course, books.

Preschool Storytime

10:30 a.m. Wednesdays, Nov. 18

Children who start kindergarten with pre-reading skills have an advantage. They are ready to learn to read. Your preschooler will continue to build relationships with other kids, books and the library in a storytime designed specifically for them. The stories and activities are more complex, but just as fun!

Baby Rhyme Time

Reading to babies right from birth stimulates their minds, develops language skills and lays a foundation for later reading success. During this special storytime, you and your baby will learn new nursery rhymes and fingerplays, interact with puppets, sing, read books and dance! It is a wonderful opportunity to meet other parents and babies in the neighborhood.

Five simple practices get kids ready to read: Talking, Singing, Reading, Writing and Playing. Your whole family is invited to this enjoyable, all-ages storytime that encourages the development of pre-reading skills through songs, rhymes, fingerplays and stories.

Advanced registered nurse practitioner, Alexis Goss, will answer all your questions in this special discussion, just for teens. Registration is required.
