Tickets are on sale for the annual Awards Gala of the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce, to be held Jan. 30 at the Pelican Preserve, at 10571 Veneto Drive, Fort Myers.
Director Joan Cunningham said there is a 5:30 p.m. reception with dinner at 6:30. The special program and installation of officers for the new board will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The theme for the annual chamber gala is the “Sounds of the Big Bands.”
Entertainment will be provided by the Lehigh Concert Band and TRIG Entertainment with DJ Jay Rigdon. Master of ceremonies is Clay Miller of NBC-2.
Cost is $60; black tie attire is requested.
The annual awards gala is the most important event of the chamber year. Between 200 and 300 people usually attend the event.
Table and event sponsorships are available; those interested should not waste time as the tables are being grabbed by visitors.
There is a silent auction, and business firms and individual are encouraged to offer gifts. The proceeds go to the chamber.
The chamber’s Special Events Committee organize the gala.
The public invited to attend.
