Annual holiday event to feature lighting of Christmas tree, visit from Santa
Santa Claus is coming to Lehigh Acres to help pull the switch to light the giant Christmas tree in front of Lehigh Regional Medical Center this coming Saturday night, Dec. 5.
The public is invited to the annual holiday event and promoters say this year will be one of the best ever with plenty of entertainment. There is plenty of parking on the hospital campus.
Santa arrives on a fire truck, thanks to the Lehigh Fire and Rescue District, to meet with all children in the area and to pose for free photos inside the lobby of the hospital at 1500 Lee Blvd. in Lehigh.
The program begins with Santa’s arrival and then the entertainment begins at 5 and lasts until 7 p.m.
There will be performances by Lehigh Child Care Center, Footnotes Dance Studio, the Lehigh Children’s Choir, the Lehigh Boys and Girls Clubs, the Mirror Lakes Elementary School with East Lee Carolers and Band.
Photos with Santa are free, a gift from LRMC. Refreshments will be available.
