At 12:39 p.m. Nov. 26, the Fort Myers police responded to 2143 Barden St. in reference to a drive-by shooting.

Upon arriving, officers located a man suffering from a gunshot wound outside the residence, later identified as Samson Morency, 24, of Lehigh Acres.

Lee County Emergency Medical Service was summoned. Morency died on scene.

Police are still searching for a late 1980’s or early 1990’s, black, two-door, Chevy Monte Carlo. The vehicle has red pin stripes, stock wheel and no window tint.
