LCSO: Deputies seize guns, drugs and cash
On Dec. 10, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office ended a two-month investigation into convicted felon, Tacuma Horrobin, 34, with the execution of a search warrant at 3805 S.W. Ninth St.
Horrobin was located at the residence and taken into custody without incident.
During the past two months, numerous purchases of cocaine and heroin had been made from Horrobin by undercover detectives.
Once inside the residence, detectives located and seized the following:
– Five loaded handguns (two stolen): Smith and Wesson .40 cal, Smith and Wesson 9mm, Smith and Wesson .357 magnum, CZ 9mm and Llama .45 cal.
– Approximately 150 rounds of ammunition
– 92.4 grams of powder cocaine
– 19.8 grams of heroin
– 27.2 grams of marijuana
– 1.6 grams of MDMA (Ecstacy)
– 11.0 grams of Oxycodone
– 13.0 grams of Xanax
– Other miscellaneous pharmaceuticals
– $7,027 U.S. currency
The total seized cocaine and heroin for this investigation was 104.8 grams of cocaine and 42.8 grams of heroin.
The street value for all narcotics seized throughout the investigation is $16,500.
East District CID responded to the scene and recovered over 80 articles of suspected stolen property including power tools, construction equipment and masonry equipment.
Horrobin was subsequently arrested for six counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, five counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, four counts of trafficking heroin, two counts of sale and possession of cocaine, two counts of possession of cocaine, trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana under 20 grams and trafficking Oxycodone.
Horrobin was transported to the Lee County Jail for processing.
