Paez joins Frantz EyeCare in Lehigh
Optometrist Roger Paez recently joined Frantz EyeCare’s medical team and will see patients in the office at 3020 Lee Blvd.
Paez is a native of Las Vegas and graduated from the University of Nevada with a Bachelor of Science in biology.
He attended the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry and did his optometric internships at the Kendall Eye Institute in Miami, Center for Better Vision in Boca Raton, Eye Freedom Clinic in Miami and several hospitals in Puerto Rico.
Paez is a primary eye care provider who is board certified in the treatment and management of ocular diseases and disorders and also specializes in vision conditions, testing for eyeglasses and contact lenses, and provides pre- and post-operative care of surgery patients.
He speaks fluent Spanish.

Airport ranks highest in traveler satisfaction
J.D. Power released its 2015 North American Airport Satisfaction Study and Southwest Florida International Airport ranked highest in the medium airport category.
In its 10th year, the study measures overall traveler satisfaction with large- and medium-sized North American airports in the areas of terminal facilities, airport accessibility, security check, baggage claim, check-in/baggage check and terminal shopping.
RSW’s score of 792 was the highest in the entire study this year, where the average was 752 for medium and 719 for large airports.

Nominations being taken for Citizen of Year award
Lee County Commissioners are looking for nominees for the 2015 Paulette Burton Citizen of the Year Award, who get involved in the community and work diligently for causes in which they believe.
The award strives to recognize a citizen who has provided outstanding civic contributions to Lee County government.
The criteria includes a positive attitude, knowledge of the objectives and activities of Lee, demonstrated interest in community/county government partnerships and promotion of harmony between community and government.
