First Christian Church to change locations
The First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) will host its first service at its new location on Feb. 7 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fountain Crest Retirement Community, at 1230 Taylor Lane.
Buckingham Presbyterian seeks donations
Buckingham Presbyterian Church needs donations for a public garage sale on March 5 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 4241 Buckingham Road, Fort Myers.
Items sought include clothing, shoes, electronics, flat screen TVs, sports gear, bicycles, linens, lamps, pictures, floral arrangements, furniture, household goods, baby and children’s toys, and more.
Depending on location, furniture pickup can be arranged by calling Jamie at (239) 690-1070.
To arrange to drop off of items at the church between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through?Friday, call (239) 694-2444.
Breakfast and lunch will be served during the sale for a fee.
Proceeds will benefit several charities in the area, including Mision Peniel, CCMI, the Salvation Army and Tice Elementary.
