Home invasion suspects sought
Nearly a month after two adults and five children were held at gunpoint during a Lehigh Acres home invasion, detectives are still on the hunt for the men responsible.
Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is hoping that additional pictures of the suspects, which were captured on home surveillance video, will help lead to their identification and ultimate arrest for this violent crime.
Detectives said three men entered the Manuel Street East home just after 6:15 a.m. on Jan. 9, according to officials.
Over the course of a few hours, the men scoured the house, while two adults and five juvenile children were contained at gunpoint.
The men left in a dark-colored four-door vehicle.
Two of the suspects are described as black, in their 20s and roughly 6 feet, with one of them possibly having a tattoo around his left eye.
The third man is lighter skinned.
Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the suspects are asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
