Authorities raid gaming arcade
After the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said it conducted a six-week investigation of the Luxxor Gaming Arcade, at 5280 Lee Blvd., Suite 23, charges against the establishment are pending, according to a report released late last week.
LCSO?detectives said they received a tip that the arcade was running an illegal gaming business.
According to officials, surveillance and several undercover operations were conducted and they confirmed what they called illegal activity, resulting in two search warrants being served.
The warrants resulted in the collection of more than 50 gaming machines and the seizure of $5,034 in cash and approximately $4,800 in ancillary equipment and furniture.
