Suspects wanted in overnight burglary
Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying three suspects in an overnight burglary of a Gateway area residence.
Between 10 p.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday, a suspect or suspects burglarized a vehicle after gaining entrance through an unlocked garage door on Meadow Pine Lane in Fort Myers.
The suspect(s) removed a purse from a vehicle parked in the garage, as well as several landscaping tools and a laptop computer.
About 1 a.m., a credit card from the stolen purse was used at the RaceTrac convenience store in Lehigh Acres by a white man.
Several hours later, two white women were caught on surveillance cameras using the card at the North Fort Myers Wal-Mart.
Anyone with information on the identities of any of the three suspects is asked to call Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at (800) 780-TIPS (8477).
All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
