Mary Sybil Mertz (nee Croxton) 80 a resident of Lehigh Acres, FL passed away Tuesday April 19th, 2016 at her home surrounded by family.

Mary was born on November 12th, 1935 in Star Lime Works, Ky. She was the daughter of Leslie and Treva Croxton.

She was united in marriage on March 23rd, 1957 to John L. Mertz and they were married for 59 blissful years.

Mary was a housewife and mother to eight children: John R Mertz (Rosemary Mertz) Ingrid Blum ( Robert Blum) Donald Mertz( Marion Mertz) Anna Jeffrey (Robert Jeffrey) Mary Hackert (Robert Hackert) Leonard Mertz (Jill Mertz) Sandra Mertz ( Jerardo Trevino) Rhonda Mertz ( Joseph Jarman) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren

Mary loved to cook, quilt, play the lotto and spend time with her family.

She was an amazing and kind woman.
