Youth summit planned
The iWill Mentorship Foundation will host its Color Me Confident 2016 Youth Summit on May 7 at 10 a.m. at the Stars Complex, at 2980 Edison Ave., Fort Myers.
The summit will provide a forum for students ages 12-18, their parents and community leaders to learn about attending college, scholarship opportunities and financial aid.
A Concordia College representative will conduct band auditions for scholarships; students who play a band instrument are encouraged to bring it and be prepared to play a solo.
Artwork on display
The Arts of the Inland will meet on May 10 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Veterans Park Recreation Center, at 55 S. Homestead Road.
There will be a display by AOI artist and instructor June DeVincent and her students.

They will explain why to save seeds and basic terms, along with beginner seed saving techniques for lettuce, tomatoes, peppers and beans/peas.

Commit to get fit with aqua aerobics. Choose from a fast-paced workout at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday through Friday or the ultra-low impact class at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday and Friday. Classes are 45 minutes long in chest deep water.
