By Staff | May 18, 2016

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement announced on Monday the arrest of a Lehigh Acres woman.

Altagracia Ortuno, 32, was charged with grand theft over $100,000 and criminal use of personal identification information over $50,000.

Both counts are first-degree felonies.

Ortuno, a former bank teller for BMO-Harris Bank in Bonita Springs, used the personal identification information of a bank client to create fraudulent deposit slips and illegally withdraw approximately $201,000 from the client’s bank account over a period of 15 months.
