Candidate Forums (6/22/16)
Hosted by the League of Women Voters of Lee County and The Alliance for the Arts, candidate forums will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Foulds Theater, 10091 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers.
The following are scheduled:
– June 30: Lee Memorial Hospital Board
– July 7: Lee County School Board (at-large)
– July 14: Lee County Supervisor of Elections
– July 21: Lee County Commission
They will be conducted according to the guidelines of the League of Women Voters of Lee County, who will also moderate, time and screen questions from the audience.
The program is designed for 1.5 hours.
The format for the forum will include a three-minute opening statement, one minute to answer each question by each candidate and two-minute closing statement.
Any time remaining will be an opportunity for candidates to meet with attendees.
