First Baptist planning Youth Explosion for all

By Staff | Jul 20, 2016

Hector Gomez

Lehigh Acres youth are invited to attend Youth Explosion on July 29 at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Lehigh Acres, at 200 Lee Blvd.

“We’re going to have a religious youth explosion for the young people of the community. The teens can join other youth from other churches and have an explosion of music, testimonies, the Word of God and more,” said Pastor Hector Gomez.

“I am encouraging the young people to not miss this opportunity of praising God, all together. You will see and hear the power of god while worshiping his name,” he said.

Gomez said youth often say there is not a lot to do in Lehigh.

“Well, our church and its youth decided to come up with something really fun that they believe the kids would enjoy and learning more about the Word of God,” Gomez said. “This is an opportunity to praise God, all together. You will see and hear the power of God, while worshiping his name.”

“We’re going to have some of the great music around while we worship, and we have invited the youth from other churches in Lehigh to be there. Bring your friends from other churches and beyond,” he said.

Such programs for Lehigh’s youth are held on the last Friday of every month at the church.
