Cancer screenings available
Radiology Regional Center is offering free, low-dose lung cancer screenings on Aug. 27 from 8 a.m. to noon at 805 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral.
They are by appointment only; no walk-ins allowed.
Limited spaces available.
The screenings are available to those who are: under the age of 55, uninsured/insured, current/past smoker, have occupational/environmental concerns, have been subjected to secondhand smoke and asymptomatic.
They are also available to those who are: over the age of 55, uninsured/insured and never smoked or quit smoking over 15 years ago.
Participants must provide the name of their physician to receive results and must bring their photo identification.
Most insurance covers screenings for smokers and past smokers over the age 55; see your insurance plan for details.

Southwest Florida International Airport launched the Park. Fly. Win. Sweepstakes, which is designed to build awareness and promote the benefits of short- and long-term parking at the airport.
