To the editor:

As a retiree of Lee County School District, it was my honor to work with Dr. Jane Kuckel in my roles as teacher, school-based administrator, and district administrator. Dr. Kuckel always exhibited professionalism and integrity in her position. She set high standards for herself and others and rolled up her sleeves to assist in the accomplishment of goals.

Dr. Kuckel was a strong advocate for providing career academies in all high schools, which provide opportunities for students to pursue a career or higher education. Her mode of operation was a commitment to continuous improvement. Jane is unwavering in her desire to be part of the solution to bringing the district back to an “A” status. Her past experience as a dedicated board member will assist the collaborative teamwork needed to move the district forward.

I encourage voters to cast your vote for Jane Kuckel for the District 6 seat.
