Time for diversity and new leadership
To the editor:
I believe that Charlie Flores should be endorsed for Lee County School Board District 2 mainly because he doesn’t want to limit public input: Yes! Also, no offense Mrs. Dozier, but 16 years is more than enough and same for Jane Kuckel, who served 12 and wants to spend her first 30 days to determine how “we can work together.” Really, really seems like goals for our district should be the focus, not learning social skills.
So for District 6 vote Donnie Armstrong, a parent of twins with an ear to listen.
For District 3 Lori Fayhee, also a parent who has attended many of our curriculum meetings and brings different ideas to the table.
Now for District 7, I support Derrick Donnell and have observed him at city council meetings. Mr. Donnell appears to be very reasonable. On the other hand, I have seen Cathleen Morgan be very harsh with the public at school board meetings and that is a total turn off for me.
Everyone deserves respect no matter where you stand. So vote incumbents out and support Flores, Fayhee, Armstrong, and Donnell.
Time for diversity and new leadership.
