To the editor:

Our country is in dire need of change and real leadership. Government spending is completely out of control and we need to elect business people like Francis Rooney who understand how to balance a budget.

People like his opponents, the professional politicians and the D.C. insiders, have gotten us into this mess. Both have spent over a decade working in Washington. Why would we even consider sending either of them to Congress?

They say that repeating the same action and expecting different results define insanity. In that context, a vote for anyone other than Francis Rooney is clearly insane. If we really want different results, we need to elect a different type of person.

We need conservative business people serving in public office. We need someone who understands our community.

We need someone with a record of accomplishments other than working for the government. We need someone with a new and better perspective on how the government should work for us.

We need Francis Rooney to represent us in Congress, or we must be prepared for nothing to change.
