LRMC names new chief nursing officer

Donna Forster has joined the leadership team at Lehigh Regional Medical Center as chief nursing officer.
“Forster has an impressive history of rapid change implementation and customer service excellence. Her years of leadership experience include centers of excellence implementation and accreditation for chest pain, as well as successful operational restructuring of several departments and benchmark achievement,” said Lehigh Regional Medical Center’s CEO Gary Bell
“She has practiced and managed various departments including emergency, medical/surgical, cardiac catheterization laboratory, critical care, and progressive care units,” added Dian Cimrig, the hospital’s marketing person and director of public relations.
Forster has a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s of health administration, as well as a master’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois.
Lehigh Regional, at 1303 Homestead Road, is an 88-bed acute care hospital. It is a member of Prime Healthcare, its new owners.
