Office shop offers various, quick services

Claudia Echevarria
Everybody needs time to do lots of things. That’s why the One Stop Multiservice Office opened at 1237 Homestead Road, says its owner Claudia Echevrria. She said it is because people need services fast.
“My customers are saving lots of time by coming here. We have multiple services and we’re fast and friendly,” she said looking back over her first year of business.
“Lots of people call us a packaging store – and that we are – but we offer many other services, too, including packing and shipping, copying, printing and faxing services, mail box rentals, obtaining shipping supplies, information about immigration and citizenship, doing money transfers and shredding documents and we offer international calling cards,” said Echevarria, who is bilingual in Spanish and English. Want to buy stamps and drop off your mail there? This is the place, she says.
She boasted that you will save money at her establishment as compared to other packaging stores in Lehigh.
“I guarantee the lowest prices; that’s for sure,” she said.

Included in services at Multiservices Office, LLC, are Western Union services, too.
People can come in here and get prepaid cards, make bill payments.
“The only thing you can’t pay for in here is FGUA, the firm that provides water and sewer,” she said. “But they are just a few stores down from us anyway.”
“We have many post offices boxes for the public. As it is now, I understand that there is a long waiting list at the U.S. Post Office here in Lehigh. If you need a post office box, you can get it here, today,” she said.
For a post office box, it’s $15 a month for rent or $12.50 if you sign up for a year.

MEL TOADVINE New customer Kim Gonzalez of LaBelle is being serviced by Multiservice Office owner Claudia Echevarria. Gonzales says she comes to Lehigh because there is no such service of shipping things in LaBelle.
“Folks can come in here with an item, no matter its size, and we will take care of carefully packaging it and make sure it gets on its way and the price is cheaper than anywhere else, including the post office,” she said, jumping up to provide service to a growing line of customers.
She said it comes and goes, meaning there could be a long line and then maybe not. At any rate, she promises you won’t have to wait like you do most of the time when you go the post office in Lehigh.
When she needs extra help, she says she calls on her husband, Freddy Echevarria, who has just opened his own barbershop, not far from her place of business in Bealls Plaza or as many of the locals call it, McDonald’s Plaza. That’s because her business is next door to a car rental agency which is just behind the hamburger place.
She noted her business also provides Notary Public services for $5.
Kim Gonzalez, a first- time customer said she thought she would drop in with her business and noted afterwards that it went fast and Echevarria was very professional and friendly.
You can’t miss her place of business because she has nearly every service that she provides stuck to her glass front.
“Oh and don’t forget that we do income taxes, which will be coming up after the year ends,” she said.
Echevarria said that many of her customers come from Immokalee and Alva areas and even as far away as Clewiston. They have no Federal Express services in those areas so if people want to ship something, they come this way, she said.
She said business is good – the reason being is that people can stop here and do what they have to do and be quick- while it takes time as many people during the day have to stand in line to be waited on.
“We can be your fast post office,” she said.
