Memberships open on the Lehigh Acres Community Council
It is that time of the year again when memberships are open on the Lehigh Acres Community Council.
The group meets on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Lee County Sheriff’s Office East District headquarters, at 1301 Homestead Road.
The council has existed for years and is a mouthpiece for Lehigh residents to air their concerns about their community.
The meetings are open to the public.
Those interested in becoming a council member can pick up an application at the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce, at 25 N. Homestead Road, according to Robert Saul, a board officer who is overseeing the membership drive.
“Applications are also available at our website at: www.lehighacrescommunitycouncil.com,” he said. “Just click on ‘Connect’ and then go to ‘Get Involved’ and click on ‘Candidacy Form’ at the bottom.”
