At approximately 3 p.m. Sept. 19, deputies responded to a 911 call from 4674 Golfview Blvd. Arriving deputies discovered a man, who was deceased, according to officials.

The scene was secured and an investigation initiated. During the course of the investigation, it was determined JMarcus Keon Taylor, 23, was the victim of a homicide.

The investigation was continuing as of late last week.

A separate incident took place days later, according to officials.

On Sept. 21, deputies were focusing on a home on Euclid Avenue, just south of West 10th Street. A neighbor reported hearing gunshots earlier in the evening and said that he saw the flash of a gun and a car leaving the scene.

That investigation is also ongoing.
