Uncommon Friends Foundation announces Business Ethics Award finalists

The Lee County Electrical Cooperative, CPR Tools, Inc. and Gecko Hospitality are among the finalists for the Uncommon Friends Foundation’s 2016 Business Ethics Award.

As part of the final judging, finalists will participate at the 11th Annual Ethical Leadership Conference in early November hosted by the Lutgert College of Business at Florida Gulf Coast University. The roundtable discussion will focus on the ethical challenges Southwest Florida executives face in business.

The winner will hen be announced at the Uncommon Friends Foundation’s annual Uncommon Evening event held Nov. 3 at the Burroughs Home & Gardens in Fort Myers.

“LCEC is honored to be considered for the Business Ethics Award,” said LCEC spokesperson Karen Ryan. “Our employees face ethical issues daily and we are proud to have earned a good reputation for acting with integrity, strong values, and high standards of behavior.”

Past winners of the Uncommon Friends Foundation Business Ethics Award include CRS Technology, Sunshine Ace Hardware, Ted Todd Insurance, Hope HealthCare Services, Conditioned Air, Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Company, and Shell Point Retirement Community.
