Showcase event open to public
The Publishers Showcase Event will be held today, Oct. 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Caloosahatchee Room at the Lee County Public Education Center, at 2855 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers.
Publishers that submitted materials for state adoption in grades K-12 social studies will display their instructional materials and present overviews of the programs to the stakeholders of the Lee County.
The showcase is open to principals, teachers, parents and community members who are interested in reviewing the instructional materials available for the adoption.
Additionally, online access to student materials will be available after Oct. 21 on the district website at: www.leeschools.net.
