To the editor:
I have known Tommy Doyle as a friend and co-worker for over 30 years.
He has a background in accounting, served in the military and has been a businessman in the area for over 30 years, operating a structural moving company that has won national awards for accomplishing large and technically complex projects. He served as president of the International Association of Structural Movers in 2003 and 2004.
The same qualities that have allowed him to excel in the private sector will prove invaluable in the public service arena. Tommy is a genuine people person, connecting well with those around him. He listens and communicates effectively. He has never backed away from hard work and although he is president of a company he is often in the trenches with the rest of the crew. His leadership skills give him the ability to manage both time and people to accomplish complex tasks. Tommy Doyle is about accomplishing the job at hand in the most efficient manner. He is a problem solver, not afraid to ask hard questions or seek out answers from those around him.
Tommy Doyle is the right choice for Supervisor of Elections for Lee County.
