Recommended goals for new administration
To the editor:
Goals for the next president, established by an 82-year-old voter:
The first item for consideration should be to neutralize all unnecessary, unconstitutional and costly items enacted by the present head of state and/or his party. This main goal should be to not only balance the federal budget but also pay off the national debt. Put in place a freeze on all pay raises for government employees and cancel all departmental government credit cards immediately.
Second item. Write as may executive orders as possible to cancel/enforce all items listed in the first item.
Third item. Issue an executive order to place a hiring freeze on government hiring for all branches of the federal government.
Fourth item. Issue an executive order to not replace any and all government employees that leave for any reason such as retirement, death, disability, or being fired for incompetence. Quite simply put, shrink the hell out of it.
In the event a particular department proves, without a reasonable doubt, a need for additional employees, transfer to them some of the excess baggage in other departments. These departments could be selected using a most accurate and scientific method … a dart board!
Item five. Totally review our military requirements for fraud, incompetence, empire building, and reconsider all overseas military commitments and requirements with a goal of major reduction. By our constitution, the military merely needs to protect the U.S.A., not the entire world. This is not only impossible, it is not financially feasible. Take care of all U.S.A. citizens solely.
Item six. Set up and initiate an aggressive and realistic program to close down each and every overseas military base, all 1,000 plus of them. This has been a horrible drain on our financial resources. Expect a lot of opposition to this and therefore triple (at a minimum) your personal security staff.
Item seven. After doing the above, reduce the State Department drastically. They will no longer need hundreds of employees in most countries, as we embark on a policy of non intervention worldwide.
Item eight. Shut off all monetary financial aid to other countries. Also include shutting off all military supplies and equipment worldwide. This merely stokes the fires of worldwide conflict and makes a few weapons manufacturers extremely wealthy while bankrupting the U.S.A.
Item nine. In place of monetary (cash) support to other countries, offer each of them a long-term free supply of birth control pills. In all countries that are experiencing in the area of 50 unemployment, overpopulation, limited resources, and large doses of civil strife, this would cause that problem to disappear within 50 years or so. Do nothing, and the problem will only be exacerbated and eventually become totally unmanageable.
Item 10. On the domestic front, select a future date about one year out for an end to government support for a definite end to government financial support for all future illegitimate children. I realize we can and should not legislate morality. This has nothing to do with morality. It is merely a declaration of common sense. Offer those who lack control of their hormone activity, guess what? All of the free birth control pills, surgeries and devices their dear little hearts desire. This will both shrink social problems related to “poverty” and reduce wasteful government spending. In 25 years, this problem will disappear.
Item 11. Since we already have a two term limit on the President, lets enact the same for members of both the Senate and the House of Representatives. It is long overdue. At the same time take back America and make lobbying members of any and all legislatures, federal, state, county, and city included illegal. These political parasites are more dangerous to freedom than any terrorist in the world. They should be dealt with expediently and be terminated with extreme prejudice.
Item 12. Let’s place each and every government employee in the Social Security pool and eliminate all cushy government retirement plans and private insurance plans. This is nothing more than robbery on a large scale by government employees.
Item 13. It will become necessary for Congress to replace the $2.6 trillion dollars they have robbed from the Social Security fund since the mid 1960s, when LBJ decided to steal it to support the illegal Vietnam war. Subsequent presidents and Congressional representatives decided this was a convenient way to deceive the general public and kick the military-industrial-complex bankruptcy stone down the road to oblivion.
Item 14. Establish a flat tax rate in place of the present bastardized system that favors certain groups of people. Set the goal to file income tax on an index card sized tax form. Put in a provision to make it impossible to increase the size of the percentage of the flat tax rate. History has proven the fact that it is not possible to give the government more money than it can waste.
Item 15. Have Congress pass a law that will outlaw lobbying of any form of governmental employees, at any level, federal, state, county, and city, a crime that is definitely punishable by death to both recipients. Also enforce it with extreme prejudice!
In the event you are elected and attempt to initiate the items on this list, I respectfully suggest you minimize public appearances and plan on only one term. Those deadbeats and connivers among us will make a most serious attempt to maintain the status quo, even to the point of no return and total collapse of our current system.
