Winners of greeting card contest named
The School District of Lee County recently named the top eight winning entries from its 27th Annual Lee County Schools Greeting Card Contest.
Each year, students are invited to submit holiday card artwork. This year’s contest featured entries from high school students.
Among the winners is Angel Caseres, of Lehigh Senior High School. Lisa McCartney oversees the Lehigh Senior High’s digital and media arts department.
The other contest winners included Raja Al-Bahou, Annie Crouch, Bella DeMay, Shelby Doyle, Audrey Kenny, Emma Saenz and Rhea Schott.
The winning cards will be enlarged and displayed in the front lobby of the district offices during the holiday season and will be featured on the district’s website.
The winning entries will also be recognized by at the school board meeting on Dec. 6.
