High expectations

By Staff | Nov 30, 2016

To the editor:

A letter writer in the last paper felt Trump would not be a good president because he did not have political experience.

Interesting comment because many of us feel that the presidential position is the toughest CEO job in the world. A CEO operates to get results by setting agendas, choosing personnel to manage those agendas and supervising the actions being taken. He is interested in results instead of making political points with special interest groups that typically leave out the middle class who is picking up most of the bill.

Few presidents have had CEO experience so I am waiting with high expectations on Trump who has an enormous amount of CEO experience.
