Anent Mr. Kalfus:

Over the last two years I have read several of his letters. I do not agree with him most of the time. Most of his letters contain, regardless of the specific concern, a paragraph whining about the abortion law.

On Jan. 22, 1973, abortion became legal in the United States.

As stated in your letter printed Nov. 18, “We don’t expect anyone to be happy about being losers. But we always hope that losers can “suck it up,” be professional, and not harm America by acting like spoiled children. Sit in the corner and suck your thumb if you like, but you lost and that’s your signal to stop the nonsense and grow up!”
