So much bull

By Staff | Jan 4, 2017

To the editor:

The Dec. 28 letter by Dave Kenney was one of the few anti-Trump letters that I’ve seen in a while; it was right on the money. Kenney says, “The promises that Trump made to the working class in America is looking like so much bull with the picks Trump is making to fill his cabinet.” He closes with “We are in for maybe the most crooked, inept Presidency in our history. God save us from this buffoon. “

Of course, I couldn’t agree with him more. I’ve personally been railing against this carpetbagger for over a year. OK, he won our rigged system of electing our President, but that doesn’t mean that I, or anyone else have to go along with his lies and so many other shimmy, back alley tactics.

Hillary said this guy is dangerous. No truer words have ever been spoken. Don’t believe me? How about his latest casual thoughts about expanding our nuclear capabilities? There are so many things wrong about this idiot’s comment, let me list the first two that come to mind. The country, along with other countries in the world have been working for the last 70 years to limit the impact of these world-ending weapons. Yes, world ending. These things are not to be taken lightly. Yet Trump, in his infinite ignorance, puts out this tweet to explain to all of us, our country’s new stance on nuclear weapons.

My other comment is the fact that we have agreements, commitments and understandings with the other countries in the world limiting these damn things. Now, either Trump is naive or just plain stupid to think for one minute he is going to come in as the new kid on the block and turn around all of this history, with a lousy tweet.

This is only one of a hundred examples I could give you, not enough print space. However, there is one overriding issue with this ignoramus, soon to be President, that I’m sure will continue and that is his use of tweeter to communicate with his subjects. This one item in itself should give you an idea of the shallowness of this person. It’s a well-known fact among the New York crowd that he has the attention span of a goat.

Thank you again, Mr. Kenney, for your inspiring letter.
